This was our first stop on our 7-day cruise on Holland America Veendam. Our first excursion was a half-day trip to the Misty Fjords. We saw fishing boats and floatplanes. It was quite misty. A fjord is a long, narrow arm of the sea bordered by steep cliffs. It is usually formed by glacial erosion. We saw lots of glaciers.
